Standing By for Palin Testimony...

The Associated Press and other news wires are reporting that Sarah Palin may take the stand later today in to testify in the case against David Kernell, the 22 year old charged with hacking her e-mail.

The Reliable Source reports:
A caravan of Palins is headed into the Knoxville, Tenn., courtroom, reports our colleague Jerry Markon, with both the former VP candidate and husband Todd expected on the stand. On Wednesday, Bristol Palin, 19, testified she was bombarded by calls and text messages after her cellphone number -- gleaned from her mom's hacked e-mails -- was posted online, the Associated Press reported.

David Kernell, 22, is charged with four felony counts for accessing Sarah Palin's Yahoo account during the 2008 race by using a password-recovery tool and correctly answering a series of security questions to reset her password. Prosecutors say the former U-Tenn. student -- son of a Democratic state legislator -- made screenshots of her e-mail and other personal info and posted them online. If convicted, Kernell faces up to 50 years in prison.
