Sarah Palin is criticizing the "lamestream media" for reporting that she rolled her eyes during a spirited videotaped conversation with an Alaska woman.
In the video that I posted yesterday, Palin asks a woman standing next to a large “Worst Governor Ever” banner what she does for a living. The woman — Kathleen Gustafson– responds that she’s a teacher. That leads to a response that prompted several outlets to comment that Ms. Palin rolled her eyes — or at least looked like she was rolling them. What do you think?
I used to be a devout republican. I am now an independent. I will not be part of a part who has a person like Sarah Palin as a part of its de facto leadership. She does not represent herself or the party well. I found it ironic that she was talking about sending troops to fight for our freedoms and constitutional rights while her goons were trying to interfere with a clearly non-threatening situation. I am sick of the bumper sticker politics from both parties and I look forward to the day when we can hear voices such as the former William F. Buckley. In short, she is in way, way over her head and I feel like I am watching some warped reality show when I see her speaking. She is the apex of tabloid politics and she needs to get out of the public spotlight. She is an embarrassment.
