The Real Housewives of DC

It feels like I've been talking about this series forever--or at least since November 2009 thanks to the Salahis.

Bravo officially announced on Tuesday that the show will premiere on August 5th, but Politico’s sure we’re not going to see any pols this season. They write, “The famous gate-crasher leads a cast including Mary Amons (“granddauther of radio and TV personality Arther Godfrey”), Lynda Erkiletian (“owner of D.C.’s top modeling agency”), Stacie Turner (a “Harvard grad” and “active political fundraiser”) and Catherine Ommanney (a “feisty Brit” who is “married to a White House photographer”). No politicians—or really any politically affiliated wives. The Reliable Source notes “Bravo gave serious consideration to a lobbyist and a fundraiser,” they write, “but both dropped out, because their jobs either required discretion or were too boring.”

Housewife Stacie Turner dropped by the POTUS studios just last month.
